How do you combine central Tel Aviv’s urban vibe with the all-American classic middle-of-nowhere diner atmosphere?
You stay authentic on one hand, but steer clear of clichés on the other, giving a contemporary local interpretation to your design on every step of the way.
That’s exactly what we did in America, one of Tel Aviv’s hottest and best burger joints.
From the service counter to the fixed bar and sofa booths, we gave the restaurant a modern twist, using materials common in 50s diners such as stainless steel, Formica, Terrazzo and wood. A neon sign with an Art Deco effect was also added for some extra flavor.
All in all, whichever way you like your burger, everyone can agree it was a job well done.
