Townhouse Jerusalem

Years ago, a British family with five children bought a 160 sqm 1925 Arab house in the center of Jerusalem, to serve as a summer house in their visits to Israel.
When the family decided to make the house their permanent residence, it had to be adapted and remodeled.
All the original tiles were dismantled and reinstalled, the facades were kept intact and so were the internal stone facades.
An internal corridor was created, which enabled to re-divide the spaces according to the needs of the family.
They say that there’s no place like home but actually, there is: this family’s home!
